I find it hard to get a good impression of Donatello. How great is his influence on today's horses? How good a horse was he, how good a sire was he? Are there any pictures of him? Look for him (racing-career, progeny) at www.galopp-sieger.de !

In male line he should be alive in AUS / NZ. Recent German champion-mare Mi Emma has had him in her pedigree.

Of course this is Sysyphus-labour that will never end - but the result improves from day to day.
