Hana Bride

Can anyone find out if a broodmare by the name of
Hana Bride has a Registration #8234124?

We are raising money to ship a aged mare (20+ years) rescued from a feedlot in Washington (within a day or two of being shipped for slaughter) to Our Mims Retirement Haven.

The gal in Washington that coordinates the feedlot rescue looked at her registration papers and reported her name as Hanna Bride with the above registration number. I could not find a Hanna Bride, but I found a mare by the name of Hana Bride - 1982 by Coastal. I don't have a lip tatoo, just the registration number.

I'm not sure how to research the registration number. Thanks for your help!

The first two digits of the registration number are the year of birth. So a number starting with 82 would match the reg # you have.... And there is no Hanna Bride at all in the APR database so as SO OFTEN happens the name was misspelled. I think a lot of horses end up unsold/unadopted because if the name is misspelled in the listing people can't look up the horse at all and give up on that one and move on to one they can get information about.

Thank you Madelyn. With that information, I am pretty sure we have identified this mare. Here are a couple of photos of her. She looks great for 23! Fingers are crossed that by next month, The Exceller Fund will be able to send Hana Bride to Our Mims in Kentucky.

She's in the APR & the db here as Hana Bride ('82 Coastal - Sue Me Not by Verbatim).

So glad to know she's going to Jeanne!
