can someone help me out?
I am getting amare named Quick Glory on saturday. I have seen pics of her, but I haven't seen her in person. I have lined up a breeding to a homozygous black AQHA stallion for this spring, but I am wondering what kind of TB stud I can aim her towards next year. I do not wish to go to derby heights, but might consider selling the foal to someone who might. I am posting this to ask if someone could do some research on her and tell me what I do not know about her? (I pretty much only know her height, age, color, adn that she has 2 AQHA foals registered under her). Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks in advance!!
Gosh, I hope the mare is a chestnut.. you MUST be aiming for a black offspring.
Regarding Quick Glory, a '91 mare by Quick and Nervous out of Glorious Event, I suspect she is very much where she belongs, to wit, a spot where she does not have to produce fast horses. Her dam produced eleven foals, seven runners, but nothing of note and her highest earner made $46,500.
Thoroughbred stud fees being what they are, and the mare's catalog page being what it is, I think, in my humble opinion, you have a better chance to make a profit in the AQHA, APHA or warmblood programs.
