Changing the Stallion Database

Postby K~2 » Mon Jul 03, 2006 7:16 pm

I would like to change the contact info/stud fee for a stallion in the stallion database. How do I do this?

Thanks

I don't know if just anyone can. I think that was something Miles was playing with but never finished. I'd love to get in there since most of the Kris S. sons are wrong.

Ummm.... you simply pull up the pedigree, move your mouse pointer over to Maintenance, select Edit Information from the pulldown, and change the info in the fields.

Unfortunately it doesn't work for the stallion database, just the regular database.. :(

There's a Stallion Database that is akin to the Stakes Database. Arrow over "reports" and click on "Stallions", you'll see it. Just about all the info in it is wrong or out of date and I don't think Miles ever opened it up for normal users of this site.

Hey! Where'd the edit key go? Anyway, the stallion database isn't attached to the normal pedigree page of a specific horse and I have no clue where it draws the info from.

I would have updated a contact name and number on a sire if it were possible.

Is there still no way to change/update the stallion db?

That would be correct. I don't think that was something the average user was suppose to have access to. I wish he'd just delete the blasted thing since all of it is wrong.
