Why is GSV # different in 2 different views of same horse?

Postby tbbreeder » Tue Aug 08, 2006 1:10 pm

At least it looks like it should be the same thing.

Example one: Carlemont shows a (26) after his color and year when appearing deeper in a pedigree, but when you pull him up by himself, his GSV is over 73.

Example two: Parfaitment also shows a (26) after his name, but his GSV is much higher, also.

Conversely, other stallions in this pedigree show a full, normal GSV. The pedigree I was looking at is Shes the Best.

Can someone please explain this? I have someone asking me and I can't answer the question.

Thanks!

Vicki, go to the home page and look at the very bottom you will see"data updates". What you are looking at in a pedigree under a sire's name is the GRASP score not the GSV score. Click on the word GRASP and it will explain what it means.
