Why was his pedigree erased and locked?

It was locked, as are many prominent stakes horses, to prevent tampering - and it worked, no-one's touched his entry since november.

Alas, locking does not protect from database glitches, which seem to be happening more frequently of late. :roll:

I'll have it fixed shortly.
