Can't attach links

Does anyone know why the links I attach in my posts aren't highlighted? I have the "always allow HTML" ckd. to yes on my profile, but on my posts under Options is still says html is OFF.

It should say off. That's not controlled by you. Go into your profile and see if you have the "always allow BBCode" clicked to yes.
