Looking for suitable matches

Postby Bowcrest Farms » Fri Mar 04, 2005 1:18 pm

I have 2 mares I would like to breed this season. 1. Lure Till Dawn- By: Fly Till Dawn / Out of: Rebeccas Freeze - I was thinking about breeding her to Fastness (IRE) By : Rousillon / Out of: City Fortress. Is this a good match?? Any other suggestions?
2. Jennifers Queen- By: Out Of Place / Out of: Tempted Queen. I'm open for suggestions here???
I would like to find a stallion standing in PA or a neighboring state.
Thanks for your input.

Lure Till Dawn is from the sireline of the VERY prominent Grey Dawn II.

Fly Till Dawn, like Swing Till Dawn, Vigors, and Grey Dawn II himself, all do extremely well with Prince John. Fly Till Dawn's best offspring is out of a Hold Your Peace mare; Hold Your Peace is a son of Speak John.

Meadow Monster, a son of Meadowlake (who is a son of Hold Your Peace), has a stakes-winning filly out of an It's Freezing mare. It's Freezing is Lure Till Dawn's broodmare sire. Meadow Monster stands at Green Willow Farm in MD for $4000. Depending on your budget and how he matches physically with your mare, he could be a very nice choice.
