I can,t explain why, but I would think also twice on front of it.
Or I would go to a real outbred.
Was SAVE THE PROFIT trained on dirt, or on grass.
Did he ever race raced on a soft or yielding track, or only on the firm.
jmo breed her to save the profit, and race the sibbling in europe.
Lease the sibbling to me

Save The Profit? Would that cross work? hmmm...lol...talk about a cheap stud fee...LMAO!!! Somebody tell me quick...is that a workable cross?

Our main goal actually right now is to find one for Glaire...Cassydora as it turns out is going to be given a little bit more time on the track before we decide to retire her.

Actually, for Glaire, in NY I like Lord Ofthe Thunder... her sire Roi Normand has shown a bit of an affinity for Deputy Minister lines. In KY perhaps something along the lines of Newfoundland...wish I knew more about the damside of the mare.
So Run for the Roses, as fast as you can.....

Funny enough, I am managing Lord ofthe Thunder's book for 2006 (he has moved to Pennsylvania's Fox Tale Stud), and we'd welcome the lovely and talented Glaire to his court anytime! Feel free to email or call...his $2,500 fee could be quite a bargain, although I think Saint Liam is pretty fairly priced at $50,000 as well!

Glaire to CETEWAYO

I think this interesting mare will produce well with solid and consistent stallions with some european roots, but substantially outbred.
Also I think she could produce high quality steeplers or hurdlers.

Ather advices: LAZY LODE, DUHSHYANTOR; MY MEMOIRS

Interesting thoughts. We don't do steeplers, but still an interesting thought.

To be dead serious Cassydora will come back, in her best form giving her time. And grabbing a group 1 instead of second, as Iam allmost sure off.
John Dunlop is a very good trainer. Goodwood is a little different to the us tracks.
She just needs time to get used to US racing.

Green Hills, I've got one coming sired by Lazy Lode(ARG). He's a multiple G1 winner with 108 Beyers on dirt and 111 on turf. He won the Hollywood Gold Cup (twice I believe). He's throwing some very athletic looking, intelligent babies with very solid, correct legs. I think his first crop of 2YOs will hit the track this year. He's a Mr. P line stallion through Lode, an excellent SA sire and over Babas Fables over Good Manners, with some proven French and Argentina distaff lines. But he's in Anthony, New Mexico (near El Paso, TX). Might be a bit far for your girl.

I agree that Glaire looks very interesting with Lazy Lode. The linebreeding, other than the high percent of Raise A Native is very intriguing. FOUR crosses to Djebel......SEVEN crosses to Tourbillon through three sons (Djebel being one, of course) and a daughter. Might be a good counter to any unsoundness the high Raise A Native genetics might bring to the table. My main reservation with the hypomating is that Glaire and Lazy Lode are from the same paternal bloodlines, and I (personally) tend to avoid that pattern in a breeding because I feel it is seldom successful.

So many pedigrees...so little time. (C)

Right now (in US) she is being trained by Christophe Clement. But I think you are right. I think (young as she is) she has some time yet.

I agree with a lot of what you are saying, especially about the same paternal lines.

And as for NM being far for her? We brought her here from SA...NM is not that difficult a trip. We are looking at several ideas for her. We had hoped to race her, but she bowed her tendon in short order after arriving, so we wil breed her next year and are now "interviewing" LOL!!!!
