Don't forget Spend A Buck's affinity for Brazilian Blood. A mare with that much Prince Rose blood deserves (conformational match-up and budget permiting) a stallion linebred 6x6x6 to Brantome like the great Brazilian bred racehorse Siphon.

I say this on account of the affinity between Prince Rose and Brantome found in a amazing 15 GIWs (including the tremendous filly All Along and the Belmont winning Champion Stage Door Johnny) set forth in the Siphon section of this article: http://www.pedigreepost.com/archives/RockingTrick.html

AKA: This is of real significance since Prince Bio and Brantome have shown a powerful affinity not just expressed in the Grand Prix Saint-Cloud (FR-GI) winner and fine Brazilian sire Felicio and the good French bred broodmare La Vire, but also in Prix De l’Arc de Triomphe winning filly and European Horse of the Year All Along, Belmont S winning Co-Champion American 3YO Colt and excellent stamina sire Stage Door Johnny, Irish Oaks winner Lagunette, her full sister English Oaks winner La Lagune, Grand Prix de Paris (French Derby) winner Tennyson, Prix De La Foret (FR-GI) winner and sire Snob, Champion S (GB-GI) winner Vayrann, Prix Du Jockey Club (FR-GI) winner Roi Lear, Hollywood Derby (GI) winner Victory Zone, French 1000 Guinieas winner and Multiple GI Producer Rajput Princess, Prix Saint Alary (FR-GI) winner Comtesse De Loir, Grand Prix De Paris winner Yawa, Grand Prix de Saint Cloud (FR-GI) and Prix Lupin (FR-GI) winner Epervier Bleu, Brazilian GIW Super Star, Gulanar, the dam of Yorkshire Oaks (GB-GI) winner Magnificent Star, and finally Fidra, the dam of Pix D’Ishpahan (FR-GI) winner Lightning. (Note that all 15 of the GIWs save Epervier Bleu had Prince Rose and Brantome within the first four generations).

Perhaps you could ask Airdrie for a discount just in case they budge.

Sorry I haven't been back to this site in a while. My mare would not wait any longer, and I had to pick. I picked Sir Cat, Lord willing, which will be a good match. Now, I'm back to what I originally intended. I'm trying to find a mare in my price range to buy for Vercingetorix's full brother, L'ange Gabriel. On paper, he doesn't look like much, but in reality he is a pretty good guy. The question now becomes, where do I find a mare for him? I realize this baby will not be worth much to others since he is not a proven runner, so I probably will find someone to run the foal when the time comes. All the same, I really want to study and think over who I should buy for him. I only have room for one mare here, so she needs to be the best I can afford. Any ideas?

Wow, I handled a filly two years ago I picked up out of the killer pen, 3yo named Lady Show Me, would have been an interesting cross with your fellow, alas she is a top hunter now....

Depends on where you are located; you can look on the Canter sites, etc., interestingly, your horse's second dam produced a nice winner with Black Tie Affair; seems you might want some Mr. P in the mix.
So Run for the Roses, as fast as you can.....
