I'm so glad you have her! She was so game when she ran 2nd in the WA Cup. At that time she was a $6,250 claimer so it was pretty special. I'm glad she went to CA and found success. She was named after the breeder's daughter.

Thanks Magic! That's interesting info about her roots. She's living the good life now in a nice 5 ac. pasture with about 6 other mares and all the fresh green grass and hay she can eat. She'll enter the next phase of her career in February but we want to look at all the different breeding options and angles.

Right now, the best value appears to be Jackpot. For $3500 her enick Werk rating would be an A++/Q7. We are also thinking of the big ship to FL and Halo's Image in order to get some of that great Halo line back into California now that Lil Tyler is pensioned. Grindstone also produces some great numbers in theory and the $5K price is certainly reasonable.

Opinions?

If you decide to stay close to home, Swiss Yodeler or Beau Genius?

On paper, I like her with Beau Genius. There are some nice reinforcements in the line breeding, and a decent GSV.

Good luck with her. :D

Slewvescent may be an option

Have you considered Slewvescent linebreeding Sweet Tooth 3x5 and Herbager 3x5.

You may also think about Crafty C. T. who is also in California and line breeding Flaming Page 5x5., Raise a Native 4x5,Nashua 5x5, and Northern Dancer 4x5x5.

Hi

Unproven as yet, but you might consider Supah Blitz, which offers a perfect conduit mare profile balance with your mare. Hypo has inbreeding to Nijinsky, which has been a successful duplication. Supah Blitz is a nice looking stallion who raced against the best.
