Suggestions for a Take Me Out mare

Postby tmqh » Mon Apr 16, 2007 6:05 am

First of all, I just found this forum and LOVE it. It has been a wealth of inforfmation and I appreciate all the advice. I have a friend that wanted me to post on suggestions for his mare. Her name is Ucanstartthemusic. She is by Take Me Out out of Marigo Bells by London Bells. She has no TB foals, but has great conformation. Not much of a race record so to speak. Any advice. Thanks so much in advance.

Where is the mare located? How far are they willing to travel? Any stallion in mind?

My old favorite stallion from years ago was London Bells. Gorgeous! I used to look at his old pics and think which mare I would breed to him. Of course, it never happened.

The no brainer here is a son of Storm Cat. You get the delightful inbreeding to Almamoud through the 1/2 sisters Cosmah and Natalma AND you get an inbreeding to Imperatrice through the 1/2 sisters Somethingroyal and Speedwell.

I know, I've said it before, but inbreeding to these reines is a good thing.
