Would you buy or breed this mare?

Just wondering what people think of this mare. I like the Porto Foricos line but what do you think of the rest of it? It would be for my stallion Shelter - Seeking the Gold, Missed the Storm(Storm Cat).

Not the strongest of families but not the weakest I've ever seen. If the price was right and it was going to my stud, I might take a shot. It would also depend if I had the facilities to raise myself etc.

I follow the female families and this one, up close anyway, is not particularly strong. The sire is an interesting genetic option though..

Thanks for the opinions, I have come to realize that all the free mares offered out there are free for a reason. We are keeping our numbers down and turning a bunch away this season. We have selected the top 8 mares to come to our stallion and then closed the book. We ourselves are breeding 2 mares to him, one to Jazil and another to a undetermined NY stallion. We got hung last year by 2 clients who still have not paid any bills so we are being very careful this season. Thats ok though as no money no registration papers!

yeah people not paying is tough.
2 years ago I had 3 mares in to be bred (owned by a good friend also) and they just never came to get them... So since I hadn't been paid.. I decided to just take them home. I did NOT want to continue feeding them. The owner said that was WONDERFUL and she would pay my gas. YEAH RIGHT. She wasnt home when I got there and of course.. No board was ever paid on any of the 3, and no gas bill was paid of course.

Yeah.. they are no longer friends either.
