Breeding advice

Postby shoopic » Sat Feb 05, 2005 12:09 pm

I purchased a filly last year, (JAZZY PRINCESS) Zuppardo's Prince o/o
World Appeal mare "DIGNIFIED WOMAN"
I will stay in LA. with her and she is in foal, due in March to HELLUVAHULLABALOO which I have 1/2 interest in. I just started breeding
about 3 or 4 years ago and will more than likely keep a couple foals to
race but like all other things they will have price on them. Any insight will
be considered and appreciated. I was looking towards VALID BIDDER

THANKS IN ADVANCE
Brian V.

Horse to consider

Hi Brian V,

Macabe could be an option. He is multiple stakes placed and by Gone West-Laguna Seca by Seattle Slew. You would line breed on Bold Ruler 4x5x6. Smarty Jones was by a son of Gone West and line bred Bold Ruler 5x5x5. He looks like a decent horse for $1250. He is no comparison to Elusive Quality but a nice horse for the price. Almostashar may be another option line breeding on Cornish Prince 3x5 and Bold Ruler 4x5. Almostashar is by A.P. Indy-Destination Mir by Cherokee Colony. He is standing for $2,000. There are several horses in Louisiana you may consider.

Freespool
A good sprinter with a very good pedigree.
Repeats two of the best items of the pedigeree of your mare (Nasrulah, Blue Denim)
Not very expensive (4000$).
Stands in California.
