What do you experts think of this cross?

Mineshaft to Slewcinda

any recomendations for Slewcinda? I want to stay in the $20,000 range.

THANKS!

That is an awful lot of Seattle Slew, probably more than I would be comfortable with.

Definately go with the Unbridled line here - what about Zensational?

He is new and in budget?

I took a look at Slewcinda's female family and they've done well with Seeking the Gold and Mr. Greeley. Both of them are Mr. Prospector-line stallions and they both have Broadway in the bottom half of their pedigree.

There are some good stallion options out there with Seeking the Gold in their pedigrees...

I'm no expert!!!!!, but you are looking at second cousins in the 3rd remove and 3rd cousins in the 4th. Unless the breeders bred for the Slew's traits, your hypo baby would not be any more likely to display Slews characteristics than a complete out cross.
