Besides conformation, what do you look at when choosing a stallion?
Dosage Index?
Center of Distribution?
AEI?
What other things help you?

I look specifically for a cross that has worked with the mare's family. Look at the immediate stakes horses and those from the most closely bred.

If you can bring into the mating 3x or 4x a lineage that reverts to a great horse in the pedigree than you will often times find success. For example I recently commented to a forum that Winx should be bred to Sharmadal, for he is out of a full sister to Street Cry, the likeliness of that producing a graded stakes winner are very high...
