Has produced a few blackpled runners, a 6 figure earner or two from a very limited number of foals. Some foals have run close to 100 starts are retired sound!
I love this old guy but the dynamics of my little breeding operation have changed dramatically this season!
At 24 yrs old He has covered 3 mares and all are in foal. his fertility is not in question. He is in SUPERB health with the help of a Sr feed diet. Teeth are all in great shape, wormed regually, vet and farrier all up to date. He can be turned out with geldings in the off season. Does require a stall...at night in the winter and Day during the summer months. Has always been babied since I have owned him...Blankets during the winter and fans in the summer.
Good boy to tease mares, great with the Maidens, we call him the winer and diner type! He LOVES the girls. (He is stabled in the barn across the isle from a broodmare and catty corner from a filly...could careless. )Complete with kisses! I'm 5 foot tall and have handled him for well over 15yrs now.
Can be nippy and crotchy when he wants, can be a real lover as well.
Yearling filly can be seen on the farm and with luck his 2005 foal as soon as it hits the ground! (neither of those are for sale at this time)
