You're betting that Silver Deputy will be a sire of sires and that may not be a bad bet.

On paper there's nothing wrong with the mating, an outcross through 4 generations. There's only 1 strain of Bold Ruler (Silver Deputy has a strong established nick with Bold Ruckus - partly from availability) through Staunchness, I'd prefer to see Bold Ruler twice. Native Charger brings in Native Dancer and I'd rather see Raise A Native.

I wouldn't let the paper mating stand in the way if you like the way that they fit conformationally.

Take a look at the hypo mating with Erlton. He is out of A Deputy Minister mare so you have a lot of what you like Uncle Woger for in the ped. This would give you Buckpasser 3x4 and decrease the Native Dancer. You might also consider Montbrook or one of his sons.
