mating advice

Postby brooke » Sat Sep 18, 2004 6:09 pm

hey everyone my nets been down so this is the first time ive been on in a couple of days anyway, wow gonna have to get used to this new board. ok heres my question, alot of the regulars have heard about my mare GO HIGH, though she did fairly well in her last 2 outs i have decided she would be happier turned out as a broody, she's seen enough of racing and just isnt enjoying it one bit. the farm i work with has offered me breedings to these 3 studs, STORMY CLOUD, LORD JOHN, AND ST. SABOTAS, in the expert opinions would any of these studs make a nice mating to my mare and if so which one would u choose and why? thanks for the help in advance,

In New Mexico, I'd go to Chimes Band (Northern Dancer 3x5) or Confide (Outcross). Sometimes a "free gift" can be more expensive than paying.

According to some recent correspondence I received from JEH Stallion Station, Confide will not be standing the 2005 season in New Mexico. I believe they said he's gone to KY.
So many pedigrees...so little time. (C)
