New Sires 2006-What's the buzz now?

Postby tbrace » Wed Jun 07, 2006 4:48 am

Of the horses that entered stud in 2006, what do we hear now?

Anybody have any trouble settleing mares?

Who had full books?

Who do we think will be hot as covering sires in the fall sales, in the different stud fee ranges?

Seems like it was a pretty good group of horses. Any thoughts?

THe horses I've heard the most buzz about from people in the know that I respect are Roman Ruler, Purge & Forest Danger. Some others that seem like they can make it are Eurosilver, Grand Reward(he had tatical speed but was far from brilliant), & Value Plus. I have heard mixed things about Saint liam & Southern Image even though both were great racehorses. I really have not heard that much extra talk about Rock Hard Ten. Ghostzapper is of course Ghostzapper, enough said. Medallist had brilliant speed but after you look at him you will not breed to him. I dont think Unforgetable Max got very many in foal or had problems in that area.
