Does this seem like a daft idea to anyone else but me? Would you breed to a stallion just to get a chance at a couple of plane tickets to Dubai?

Someone who misheard that you'd get a trop to Dubai and not just a chance at a trip to Dubai; perhaps...

To be honest, its not much of a promotion from the standpoint of actually motivating Breeders to Breed to Ten Centuries; but nonetheless it did get the horse's name in the paper (or at least the Bloodhorse).

That's the one think that might stop me from saying its a daft idea...

I like it, actually. I mean were dealing with a 2k, unraced, very well bred, first year stallion. From the perspective of a small or regional breeder with a cheaper mare and ALL of the other 1.5k-2.5k stallions out there, why not take a flyer on a son of Dubai Millennium? Lots of cache there, especially if its a good looking foal. I do know he is a very good looking animal. You could do much worse and NOT get a shot at a trip! :)
