CloverLeaf??
So the news today is that there done in ocala at the end of the mth. Moving some of the stallions to KY. Has anyone alse heard this? The first thing i thought about was poor Mongoose.. He was getting some good mares over there. Wonder where everyone will go.
Yes and they're not the only ones. With that said, I know of a few owners who are grouping together to buy some stallions and stand them in Fl.

You are correct.
Cloverleaf is being sold, and all of the staff and management are being let go.
And I think the owner John Sykes is going to operate a Cloverleaf Farm in Kentucky but I don't know which stallions he is going to move to Kentucky.
A lot of their stallions are not controlled by them and may move to other Ocala farms.

Some folks deserve each other....which is more or less the point of this little joke:
A fellow died and went to Hell, where he found himself being escorted around by one of the imps. "We have the perfect punishment for everyone," the imp said. "Look here."
The man looked and saw a battered, bleeding man being chased round and round a room by a bony, emaciated horse, a one-eyed dog, and several cats. Every now and then, one of the animals got a claw, kick, or bite in. "That man was cruel to animals in his lifetime, so here the animals get to take their revenge for all eternity," the imp said. "You know, you weren't the greatest guy with animals either when you were on earth; how'd you like this for yourself?"
"No thanks!" The man shuddered and looked into another compartment. There, a man sat at a dining room table. Dishes of delicious-looking food kept appearing in front of him, but every time he tried to grab something from the table, rats swarmed from every corner and snatched the food before the man could get any.
"That guy was a slumlord," the imp explained. "He rooked poor people for everything he could get and a lot of kids went hungry in rat-infested apartments because of him. Now he gets the treatment he gave to others, multiplied."
The man looked away and happened to see another room where the ugliest, filthiest, meanest-looking man he had ever seen stood all alone. The newcomer wondered what was going on; nothing unpleasant was happening. Then another imp came up with a gorgeous blonde in tow and, without a word, shoved her into the room where the ugly man was.
"THAT's his punishment?" said the newcomer? "I'd sure like that!"
"What are you talking about?" said the imp with an evil grin. "He's HER punishment."

FOS that is true. They have been at the gate. Only way in is to be escorted to the shed if your breeding.
Speaking of word on the street. Brent is shopping around to stand some of the stallions. I guess he thinks no one will come if there at his farm
Hold Your peace, I heard the same cookie jar comment.. I can tell you this it's a big flipping mess over there.

Care to comment on the rumour about the cookie Jar? Just curious. I don't feel so bad that I can't breed to Repent this year nowserenarider wrote:FOS that is true. They have been at the gate. Only way in is to be escorted to the shed if your breeding.

I have seen some nice /Repents as well.serenarider wrote:myheartsezyes Care to comment on the rumour about the cookie Jar? Just curious. I don't feel so bad that I can't breed to Repent this year now
Since it's a rumor I really have nothing I can comment on.
