Maven, I think pedigree-wise he has a LOT more open to him than Holy Bull does. That Blushing Groom on the damline is the key to him. He'll get the opportunity courtesy of Stronach et al.
Things that Blushing Groom likes (other than Dr Fager/Great Above):
Nijinsky
Buckpasser
Storm Cat
Copelan
Prince John
Storm Cat is an especially obvious choice here, given that this same family produced Storm Creek and Storm in May (out of a very close relation to Primal Force).
I think Holy Bull's problem is that he was TOO much of an outcross for a lot of the currently fashionable lines, and the one strain he could be expected to "like" was a buzzkill (In Reality). Most of the In Reality-breds from Holy Bull were too unsound to run. Macho Uno may or may not have that problem, but it's less important because that female line opens up a whole lot of possibilities that Holy Bull himself did not have.

Admittedly biased, I'd agree with the first point. Outcross being open to interpretation, Holy Bull has had his best success with outcross mares. Regarding the buzz you’re hearing, perhaps its more fluff than fact as I don't believe there is a large enough sample of In Reality (is that daughters, line, or anywhere?) to make a valid conclusion. Here’s the bias...we have #2346 in the Sept sale.
