1. Repent- He has alot of very, very good 3YO's out there including crown of thorns. i think this is a sire that is really, really on the up and up.


2. grand slam- he is having some pretty solid horses all around the country that can sprint, go long, and on any surface. they are winning at pretty decent numbers


3. yonaguska- IMHO one of the most underrated sires in the country. odds are he wont' get you a derby horse but his numbers are pretty darn solid for a 10k stallion

I really like Grand Slam....I'm taking my Sea Hero mare (who's now ready to drop her Lemon Drop Kid foal) to him for '08. He's just one of those "proven" sires. I'm getting tired of the hype ....and crazy prices for first year ....unproven....sires.And, I do like Repent!

Oh, I was not thinking in terms of stud fees rather more of the fact that he does not appear to be "hot" at the sales and I do not hear of "top" mares going to him. Yet with what he has shown he can produce, I kind of expected to see more stakes winning, young mares being sent his way. He seems to be solidly staying a breed to race horse.

Mind you, I could be very wrong, this is just the sense I have.
