Sun King

Read the thread about Stevie Wonderboy's funky hind leg, I thought Sun King looked a little "crabby" behind in his video. What is up with him?

Hadn't noticed that-- will have to go watch the video again....he had a great deal more presence than I expected and nice structure to him from what I saw.

I noticed it a little in the video, in person I though he looked very nice. he should look even better after a year at stud once he fills out. I've got one probably going to him in a couple days and so does my brother.

Sun King is very cow hocked, one more than the other, but nonetheless both hind legs, or so it appeared on the day I visited him.

I didn't have cow hock in my notes but I see what you mean on the video. He was better looking in person. I would not hesitate to breed to him on the the first book.

The way he walks I thought he might have something wrong with his hocks. I don't know, he doesn't walk well behind, in my eye.

I noticed it too. But he was definitely one of the more sound ones.

I saw him 10 days after the Ack Ack and he didn't look off at all, I can't see him getting worse with a couple months of R&R. I don't think videos can give you the best look at a horse, some of the angles they shot from are not exactly where you would be standing if you were there wanting to get a good look at the horse. Our 2 girls are going to see him Sat & Sun.
