In Osidy's conformation photo- it looks like he has a club foot- any body seen him up close?

Buzzy's Gold is an interesting one- we had 2 foals by him the last couple years and both were put together well despite being out of mares who weren't the greatest...

I hope Scrimshaw does well because he is from the same female family as my own broodmare, Breezy Mistress

interesting that you have such a diverse group listed. I think Cuvee is a no brainer to be near or at the top of this year feshman list at least for a while. From then on I not sure if he will be a real important but should get early 2 year olds & maybe a good later sprinter or two. First Samuri will be a very good sales stallion I think but I'm not sure he will be a racehorse sire. Henny Hughes is very solid all around IMO. Midas Eyes I like a bit for maybe a racehorse sire in NY I remember seeing a baby by him last year I loved but dont expect to get a ton for one. Purim is interesting but wont get that much support I dont think, tab him for later. Your La list looks boring to me. Osidy has an outstanding female family but usually turf sprint to middle distance stallions dont work & he was ok but was not that great as a racehorse. Congrats I'm not crazy about would rather use Flatter at a cheaper price. Omega Code I think may suprise a few, the couple I saw by him were lookers at he was fast. I think he will make a little name for himself this year with his two year olds. Corinthian is getting a ton of support & is a very good commerical play but after really thinking him over I'm not so sure he is such a safe pick to be a very good sire. His pedigree is rather closed & being by Pulpit is unproven as a sire of sires (check Sky Mesa). He also was a rather high strung difficult horse & he could pass some of that on. Pavarotti, I've never really thought about he probley was more talented than most would believe but I'll wait and see on him. Scrimshaw, may not be the worst play for regional breeders if your are breeding to a cheap KY horse but I cant recommend him

I bred a mare to Osidy last year, he is a striking, leggy horse. He did not look club footed at that time. In the Stallion Register photo, you might be referring to the left front and it could also have been just a bit of an off angle or a bad shoeing job.

Hi Dram,

Osidy is standing at Elite TB Farm in Folsom.

Well, I'm thinking Congaree has possibilities. And you'll all laugh at me, but I also think Mr. Sekiguchi with that female family could do much better than we expect. Somewhat like Kipling except that he will get a better book of mares to begin with.

Geo-

I'll be laughing with you. I bred to Mr. S this past Friday.

I would add City Place to your list. In the inexpensive category, I would also add During. Based on what I've seen in the past year, he may surprise.
