Bold Laddie as a broodmare sire?

Any opinions on him? I have a chance to lease or buy a Bold Laddie mare...just curious as to opinions on him and who his mares cross best on.
A woman needs 2 animals in her life-the horse of her dreams, and a jackass to pay for it!
