aptitude - broodmare sire?

Postby mightyhijames » Mon Dec 28, 2009 4:26 pm

the bloodhorse has aptitude broodmare sire stats as 3.10 AEI, 1.64 CI. granted, there's not a lot to work with but, if i'm not mistaken, that's pretty high. thoughts?

He got some really nice Juddmonte mares his first few years at stud. He can certainly be pulling his own weight, but there's a good chance he's getting a lot of help from those daughters of his first few crops. I wouldn't kick one out of my band, though. He brings a lot of good genetics and stamina to the table.

Odd.

I was thinking about this just the other night. But, since he flopped so totally as a sire and since he has no quality fillies that he has sired, that its a longer shot than it appears. Options for stud choice would be bit limited too? Maybe Mr. P line....

Thought about it then thought better of it.

People, we're only talking about Aptitude having damsired 3 foals, one of them a SW of less than 100k.
