Who will take his place as a top line CURE THE BLUES sire? What is the significance of his passing? Will CURE THE BLUES be remembered as a Sire of Sires?

Well, Incurable Optimist is certainly off to a good start in Argentina -- he sired this year's Gran Premio Carlos Pellegrini (Arg-G1) (for a comparable North American race in importance, think Jockey Club Gold Cup before the Breeders' Cup was inaugurated). He's very closely related to American Chance.

Hi Shammy,
Cure the Blues is an outstanding sire of sires - up there with Mr. P in the stats - better than almost all others. The fact that he's unrecognized just shows ya the fickle nature of the industry - driven by fashion and hype alas.
