Fanlew Farms announces stud fees

Ray and Kathy Paul’s Fanlew Farms in Sarapta, Louisiana, announced the 2011 stud fees for its roster on Friday.

Among Fanlew’s new stallions for 2011 is multiple Grade 2 winner Smooth Air. The six-year-old Smooth Jazz horse won the 2008 Ohio Derby and Hutcheson Stakes (G2) as well as the 2009 Gulfstream Park Handicap (G2). He also finished second in the 2008 Florida Derby (G1) and 2009 Shadwell Metropolitan Handicap (G3) en route to earning $1,117,200 in three seasons.

Smooth Air will stand his first season for $2,500.
