Concerto

Does anyone have any thoughts on Concerto? You just don't hear or see too much about him. He does have his share of success on the racetrack, but maybe not so much commercially. He improves his mares AEI 1.47 CI 1.29 and most of his progeny make it to the track (78%) and win at a good clip (64%) seems priced pretty well at $3.5K.

I love him but he's too far from me!

well, you made me reexamine his pedigree, and he has some rare ancestors in there. He also appears to have good balance and bone.

There just are not many Chief's Crown male line descendants and I think he will be a major contributor towards successful linebreeding back to Secretariat.

I've seen him in person. He's a small horse -- about 15.2 -- but solidly made with good bone and pretty correct. Good bread-and-butter sire and gets a really nice one every so often. Offers good solid value for the price.

Years back he was picked as a regional sire worth watching in an EQUIXBiomechanics newsletter but, he is too far for me as well. He produces runners for sure.
