Giacomo is relocating to California, to Magali.
Looks like another Stronach connection, he also has Olmodavor there.
Thoughts?

Hmmm, finger crossed. Wish him all the best of luck.

It's hard to get behind a stallion with no speed.

I kinda like him but it's too early to say with only 78 starters. I like that he's already at 3% stakes horses winners and 7% SH's so far, coupled with 3 two year old stakes winners (2%).

He apparently has very good bone, size, and a good outcross for California. I would take a chance on him despite that I don't like the AEI .91 vs CI 1.49, but hoping he'll pick it up as the foals get older (oldest 3 year olds).

Usually Stronach just sends us his proven losers, but with this guy (Giacomo) you can't count him out at this juncture. 51st on the 2 YO sires list with 23 runners is not all that bad in comparison (look who's behind him). Stronach has the better HB (Macho Uno) back in KY.

Hopefully Magali with be reasonable with the stud fee, but I guess that's really up to Charlie Finley aka Stronach!

The most auspicious factor to keep faith on him is that his dad is HOLY BULL. HOLY BULL is the kind of stallion that may help GIACOMO become a decent broodmare sire of speed horses. Perhaps not in industrial numbers but with good bones and toughness.

DisposablePleasure wins the Demoiselle by a nose after a disasterous start where she stumbled to her knees coming out of the gate. Winning at 9F! There "appears" to be a strong affinity for the Caro blood with this stallion and 4 two year old stakes winners, with two being G2 winners. I also notice a prominence of inbreeding to Tom Fool, broodmare sire of Stop The Music by H2R, in his stakes horses. Not sure if this is significant as inbreeding to Tom Fool is productive in it self

21st on the national 2nd crop sire list. This stallion is heading in the right direction, and the stamina is a good plus for California.

Aside from what the news is mentioning, what really made them re-think him re-establish him to the place he has earned and deserves?
