Thanks, Robert, for the good video which I would assume settles the subject of TGM's conformation.

Another positive straw to cling to is that classic winner Shackleford, sired by Forestry, was also out of an Unbridled mare inbred to In Reality.

Does anybody know how this horse came by his God-awful name?

TGM?

Named after a hole on Magnier's Barbados golfcourse.

No the horse was already sold (uh, reportedly) before the sale and the bidder was bidding 50 cents on the dollar. Or less...

If so, I'm sure Fasig Tipton still got their cut. And at 50 c on a dollar, that's only $8 mil.

fun to chat about, I'll be real interested when his first crop is 2yo.

That was a betting coup by the Dubai boys. Coolmore thought they were running the price up over a bunch of idiots in burnooses. The Dubai boys let them run it up and bailed when it got really ridiculous.

A horse named “CHONGO VERDI” arrived second on August 11, race 9 at Calder, for 2-year-olds. His name is sort of a creative name and can be translated something like “GREENIE PAD-PONY”. His is by THE GREEN MONKEY out of TIZ SPANISH.
