Anyone close to Johnstown, Pa.? The gentleman that I had a deal with would like to be relieved of the mare. Was bred to Buzzard's Bay for a 2012 foal, but came up empty on a late breeding. Charming Heiress was a good racing mare by Fortunate Prospect, the full brother to Jade Hunter. She traces back to the tail female great La Trioenne (1X) through Baby League. She has had some real quirky things happen to her being a broodmare. I bred her right off the track to Morluc and got a colt that is at the track, but he doesn't like the dirt (Morluc was a sprint grass horse with track record speed). Since being in Pa. she aborted twins Nov. 2010, and bred late in June came up barren. If you are a stallion owner and need a hard knocking regional runner her she is. I just want to be named co-breeder in Pa., WVA., or NY.

SORRY the sire of Charming Heiress is Gallant Prospector not Fortunate Prospector...I was looking at some other posts and typed Fortunate Prospector. Gallant Prospector is a full brother to Jade Hunter.
Charming Heiress
KB,
I always read your posts because they are all so informative. Maybe we can work something out in the future.

Thank you. And once we right-size here on the farm, maybe we can.
This mare is not only hard-knocking, but has a lot of blacktype in the family (I suppose that went without saying for family 1-x).
In the meantime, you might want to contact the folks who stand Prince Joseph in Pennsylvania. He is from the same family & I believe, a homebred.
They might be interested.
