Pioneerof the Nile

Postby ct2346 » Sun Sep 02, 2012 12:12 pm

Does anyone here have any experience with Pioneerof the Nile and/or his foals? I have a Pulpit filly I'm looking to breed and he seems to be a perfect fit. I've heard his foals are okay but I have no direct knowledge or insights. Thanks.

Very good foals, correct, lots of leg/muscle - I have a yearling, wlg. and 3 preg.'s. Love this horse. Impressive to look at physically and on paper.

The August OBS sale had four Pioneer Of The Nile offspring. Hip #s 4, 28, 64, and 298. The first three hips have conformation shots in their "Results" links. I was most interested in hip #298, who is inbred to Lord at War. The P.O.N.s seemed to sell fairly well at this sale. 8)

The Pioneer of the Nile foals in the August OBS sale were hip #s 4, 28, 64 and 36 (not 298, which I erroneously posted above).
