Looks like he's not at Timber Ridge, but I don't know where he went.

His owner, Gary Broad, has been supporting him with better-bred mares than he got in Pa. Look for some of his 2012 foals on this list:

Also, here is where Buzzards Bay now stands, although he is not advertised:

From what I understand, Broad sent vans - unnanounced - to Timber Ridge and picked up Buzzards Bay one day, along with some mares, and trucked them back to Calif.

According to Brisnet, from his first crop to race this year Buzzards Bay has had 5 starters, 1 winner, earnings of $3,700. There were 21 foals in that first crop, 19 in 2011, and 26 this year.

if there was ever a horse that needed a new branding it's Buzzard's Bay. that name always sounds "slow plodder" to me.

He wasn't a plodder when he raced. As an example, he won the Santa Anita Derby while racing on the lead nearly the entire way.

Doesn't matter, there are more stallions out there its hard to have a stallion stand when the market is down. Again I reiterate retrain retrain retrain for a second job.

This is from the farm where Buzzards Bay is standing.

Buzz is not currently breeding to any outside mares for the 2013 season.
