I guess sometimes breeding really small to really big equals really good

Really? Doesn't seem like he has the rtace or sire record to be thought of for her. Are they looking for Forli and Natalma blood??

Excellent choice for her.

I was against the War Front hype when all he had was 2 G2 winners and had such an astronomical hike in his stud fee.

But you can't argue with the numbers he is putting up now.
He is by far a better choice than Bernardini and at half the price.
He has over 75% runners to foals and over 50% winners to foals.
He is improving his mares by over 33%.
His stakes and graded stakes horse numbers are off the charts.

A fine choice, nice to see her going to another self made man.

Frankly, I like it better than either Bernardini or Tapit. She has Natalma without Northern Dancer via Street Cry (adding Natalma has been HOT), Roberto loves a dose of Danzig, and Danzig loves another dose of Fair Trial which she has via Street Cry.

The foal will be very similarly bred to Shocking: http://www.pedigreequery.com/shocking12

With her breeding and turn of foot, I always suspected Zenyatta would be an even more amazing turfer than she was on the dirt. This foal should be a turf superstar.

OMG, Kimberly mine, finally someone who came out and said what I always thought too, about the turf issue. Thank YOU! :D

Agree as well, kimberly mine and erhrdt3. I thought the should have done the Breeders Cup Turf race for her last race. Would have been a good one.

I, too, always wanted to see Zenyatta on turf
