Summer Bird has died of colic in Japan. He was only 7!

He was a beautiful physical specimen. So tragic to lose him so young.

Quite a shock...I was very optimistic of his becoming a successful sire with him being from the family of Relaunch and Tapit. At least we will have two crops of his babies to watch.

I guess he is a "sure thing" sire now - sold to Japan and he tragically dies early.....the recipe for guaranteed success as a stallion.
