In my opinion, the best sire in Europe other than Galileo. If he got Galileo's mares then he could be as good as him.
Giants Causeway is not as fashionable as he might be in Britain which will have effected the qualit of Shamardal's mares initially.

Nothing like as good a sire as Dubawi, who some argue is on a par with, or even better than, Galileo.

Dubawi is doing well but I don't think he is a far better stallion than Shamardal. The idea that he is as godd as Galileo is a little far fetched.

I like Shamardal more than Dubawi. I think he will be a far better sire of sires (time will tell of course), and his stock are more precocious than Dubawi's. I also think his daughters will make better dams as his pedigree is superior to Dubawi's and looks like it will go well with the better European stallions.

Obviously if you have a ropey old Dubawi yearling you don't want I'm sure I can find a space for it :)
