Mr Sidney?

Postby Joltman » Wed Dec 30, 2015 9:28 am

Curious about this guy. Bred to die for, successful G1 winner (turf). Off to slow start - but given that he didn't break maiden til 4yo, could he be a sire of late-comers? His numbers just aren't there yet and I wonder if he may be relocating soon? Any other knocks against him? Storm Cats are not so common these days as they were and the best are getting up there.

Run the race - the one that's really worth winning.

He sired a nice MSW winner yesterday in Quest (GB). She trailed the field, was blocked in the stretch and got out in time to run them down and win by a neck. Might be a nice one for Christophe Clement and Gainesway Tbs.
The filly that ran 3rd is a nice Phipps homebred, Complicated. I think she ran 2nd to Lady Eli in one of her first races.

*and Quest is 4. So fitting his mold???

A 3-month break didn't stop Mr. Sidney's filly Quest from winning an allowance today at Keeneland.

He's also the sire of Trophee, half sister to Treve.
Trophee is a nice filly.
