Hasn't come back to the US since he was exported to stand in Australia. Did you ask Winstar?

Was Artie at Winstar last year? I wonder if there is no sponsor willing to bring him back? That used to be necessary - ie: someone willing to foot the bill for the shipping and quarantine. It is expensive upwards of $15K. He apparently covered 40 mares last year in KY which might be a bit of a turnoff. Stud farms want those limited spots they have to be occupied by a stallion that brings in the crowds. He turned 17 this year also maybe he's getting on a bit too much for all this travel. I believe it is pretty hard on the horse.

Winstar does this all the time. They have to make room for their next lightly raced 3-year-old, that will probably be around for a couple years and then be exported. It's a stallion factory.
It's too bad because Artie Schiller has sired some quality horses. I even think he would be a great addition to Ontario racing.

Wasn't Artie passed around a bit? He started out at Hurricane Hall. Then I think that farm closed. I know he was at Pauls Mill in 2011. I believe he was owned by a syndicate. I'm not sure this is solely a "Winstar" decision.

He went from one Walden's farm (twice) to another (once), all in the family. Ben started him at HH then went to Paul's Mill then to WinStar.
