Hello,
atleast I can help you with the height of Stallions I found in old 'Stallion Registers' and annual almanachs.

Kornado (by Superlative), 1.64 m
bred in England (Bearstone Stud), raced in Germany and stood at the "Gestüt Schattauer Hof"

Stanford (by Red God), 1,68 m
stood in Germany at the "Gestüt Rietberg"

Nashwan (by Blushing Groom), 16.2 1/2 Hands (1.69 m)

Valiyar (by Red God), 16.1 1/2 (1.66 m)

Hope I could help.

regards, Bettina

Hello,
many thnaks for your reply.

I was able to provide some info about the heights of Stallions.

Tesco Boy (by Princely Gift), 15.3 Hands
was sent to Japan and was a succesful Sire. Btw, he is from the same Family as the German Top Sire "Surumu".

Bin Ajwaad (by Rainbow Quest), 16.1 (1.65 m)

Quest for Fame (Rainow Quest), 16.1 (1.65 m)

I saw in back issue of the German Thoroughbredbreeders Magazine "Vollblut" an ad for "Botticelli", but no statement about his height.

Sorry, I couldn't tell you when Stanford died.

regards, Bettina
