Caro Line

Postby San Roberto » Thu Sep 22, 2005 2:37 pm

We bought the stallion Caro's Love. What called our attention is how sound
his foals have been, considering tha very few mare were bred to him.
Does anyone has a comment? He did well on both surfaces and still holds the record of a mile in Califonia.

Welcome to the forum, San Roberto. Congratulations on your new stallion. Will he be for your mares only, or are you selling his services?

By the way, I had trouble getting into your farm's website.

Thank you. You should not have a problem login to our web page. I just tried in case and worked fine. www.sanroberto.com
Thanks again for your welcome. Yes we have so far 4 mares booked for him. But we also have other stallions, including Lucayan Prince, a sire that has done very well for us. All at reasonable fees.

Congratulations, I own one of his foals, a 1995 mare by the name of Mean of Queen. I can attest to the soundness of his offspring, this mare had 67 starts!

That's one of the great things about the Caro line--the soundness, and they get better with age. They also tend to be versatile of distance and surface. Too bad they are not commercial as well.

Caros Love

Altough only a $ 5000 claiming a son of Caros Love, Cisco's Kite a 7 year old veteran won a race at Fairplex, Pomona, California and paid the incredible price of $ 166.60 to win!

Caro's Love

Postby fastappy » Fri Sep 23, 2005 7:16 pm

San Roberto, yeah I saw that! Congratulations. I have a nice In Excess mare. I love that Caro bloodline!

I also had a couple of winners by my newly acquired stallion Thisnearlywasmine. She Roves won at Fairplex & Dinkers Doll won at Thistle Downs. It's a great feeling to win at any level! Again, congrats!!!
