Here is a quote from the Thoroughbred Times web site.
"Grade 1 winner Roman Ruler, who was retired after missing a start in the Breeders’ Cup Sprint (G1) because of a foot condition, is expected to arrive at Hill ‘n’ Dale Farm in Lexington on Wednesday, where he will stand for $30,000 in 2006."
What do you think his chances are for success and is the stud fee reasonable?

He'll get a chance being a GR I winner on dirt and being a bargain compared to his sure to be outrageously priced daddy. He's been plagued by foot issues and his sire wasn't the soundest, so I think breeders have to be cautious with what you bring to him for him to have any chance at being a successful producer. For me, he always seemed to be one step behind when the big boys showed up to play and even with his half brother having some success as a sire $30,000 seems steep as an investment, but is not out of line with the market as it stands right now.

He is a half brother to hot young sire El Corredor.
He is a half brother to hot freshmen sire El Corredor and Roman Ruler is by a better stallion in Fusaichi Pegasus.
