I would love to get ones opinion of him that has seen him in the flesh & could commet on any conformation flaws & or strongpoints. From an ability standpoint this horse displayed the brilliance I believe a horse almost must show to become an important sire. For those of you that have forgot as it seems it was a while ago he was a multiple stakes & track record holder. He had 44 flat & 1:07 & change speed & could carry it to a mile & just beyond as he ran 8 & 1/2 furlongs 1:40 flat. Most important to me was his consistance as he was truely a brilliant racehorse. The Deputy Minister sire line seems to produce these types more often than any other. His dam was G1 placed & second dam was G2 placed & third dam was G3 placed so ability is there throughout. He is an outcross to Mr Prospector & Seattle Slew line mares so the possibilities are endless. I'm sure being at Three Chimneys he will have every chance to succed & could very well IMO be the next Elusive Quality, Distorted Humor type & to me looks like a very good bargin at $8,500. Thoughts?

I LOVED his natural speed and also feel he could be a sleeper.
I am told there are conformation reasons he's standing for $8,500, but that being said, he could still surprise people.

His right front is the problem.

Mill Ridge, who is standing Midas Eyes for 10K would probably disagree.

Midas Eyes cracks me up. He's out of a Bayou Hebert mare. I'm not making fun of Bayou Hebert cause he got some tough stock. Its just odd.

All the Touch Gold offspring I've worked with are completely nuts and very high strung. Anyone else witnessed the same thing?

Okay wait another post made me see I was probably misread. It was odd to me to see Bayou Hebert pop up in that manner cause I hadn't heard the name in years. I'm all for some of these tough old regional sires show up on damsides simply because they reintroduce soundness.
