After 7 days, Baffert & McKathan haven't signed for 1 ho

at the Keeneland yearling sale. That's not to say they haven't been working behind the scenes. But as I've posted the prices in my catalogs daily, not once has either of these two who are being sued for sale kickbacks signed a ticket.

And, even more interestingly, Mrs. Beverly Lewis has bought a half dozen or so using Wally Dollase as her agent instead of Baffert or Lukas.

Are the winds changing ?

Isn't Baffert buying for Zayat? I know he bought EZ Warrior and a few others at Barretts and I don't recall him signing those tickets.

I saw Mrs. Lewis and her son looking at horses by themselves. In the sales pavilion, Baffert was sitting with them a lot, though.

Baffert was locked at the hip with Zayat the first two days at least, but I think Zayat is signing himself.
