They are the people who raced Private Lap; the stallion we're standing along wtih Indy Mood. Judging from Private Lap's race record, they obviously know how to get a horse to the winner's circle!

That is great news Roq - I am hoping they do well with her.

Thanks for the update on the youngsters--it's nice to see them all grown up and doing well at the track. Good luck to them all. My 2 yo Scrimshaw colt is in training right now too--not quite ready for any works yet.

Well - they have named the McCaskill/Tapit filly (and no it wasn't McTapit ;) - her new name is: MALIBU BEACH. The way she acted sometime - I am not sure that the second name isn't a typo

So if anyone is interested in following her you now have a name to go with her extended story here :)

Hey, if anyone is interested - the Tapit filly Mailbu Beach will be running on 8/24/08 at Delaware in a MSW - the first race. Let's hope she does well for the new owners!!

That will be cool to watch as I feel like I "know" her through your many trails and tribulations!!

May Malibu Beach have an awesome race!! But then I'll be torn b/c if she whoops butt then I know you'd have to have that twinge of ...what if I had ...... :?: :?: :?:

Nope! I really hope she whips butt for the new owner and I won't have a second thought. We would have kept her and raced her if she hadn't sold and would have been happy to do that - but now they are paying for the trainer and we're not ;) Hope she kicks butt and looks good doing it!

Toccet02 - that is what is should be but I'm sure the JC wouldn't have approved it!

Speaking of Toccet -your goddaughter, the little darling Tallulah (Allou/Toccet) will be going to the September sale if all goes well between now and then - hip # 2687. I feel bad that I haven't posted new pictures of her especially when I see the avatar of her when she was a weanling. But then I haven't posted pics of any of the foals this year.

You will be very pleased with her - she's quite lovely and has plenty of 'tude to go around as well (although not quite as much as McTapit had). Of course, who knows? She may be coming home as well

Keeping my fingers crossed for the gray devil :D

Not shabby for her debut. And she ran well against the Jones' filly. It may have been just me but I think a little more distance she'd done it. But I am partial to greys!!
