Just a little bit crazy

Keeneland's sale, in the TB Times Today, 4-16:

Hartley/De Renzo Thoroughbreds’s filly by Mineshaft also equaled
the juvenile sale record for an
eighth of a mile, zipping the distance
in :9.60.
Those three horses are bound
to be among those most sought
after by buyers, but nine other
juveniles broke the ten-second
barrier with :9.80 eighth-mile
works and 17 others went the
same distance in :10, once the holy grail of two-year-old sale previews.
Eight other juveniles, in addition to the two record-setters, recorded
quarter-mile times in 21 seconds or faster.

I know we've seen this before, but they're still talking about it.

Where is it all going?

I wonder how these horses vet-checked after these super fast breezes. We should be able to tell by the prices. If anyone is there, what's the scoop?
