This mare, MD Bred by Two Punch out of Avie's lady, was recently sold as a broodmare to a farm that paid about $225K.
Anyone know what farm, and what the breeding plans are for her?

She's selling at Keejan, probably first day. Hill n' Dale is Consignor. Does that mean necessarily that they are the farm who bought her?

You should contact the consignor to get straight answers. She may have already sold before the sale.

She is hip #142, on the first day, and is not listed as an OUT. $225K is a bit much for this mare. If they bought her privately for that and hope to make a profit, she will probably RNA.

Hah! Sold for $360K.

Maybe that's RNA but I'm happy she did so well.
She was jittery and belly kicking though.

OK so she was bought by W.S. Farish.
Does that mean she's going to Lane's End, and if so, will she be most likely bred to one of their stallions?
(I'm so interested because I almost bought a 10% share of her, and I'm pretty sure I would have profited, at least a little. Plus she's beautiful and tried so hard. Best I didn't buy her I guess, coz I obviously fell for her.)

does anyone know if, assuming she is going to Lane's End being bought by Farrish, that she will be bred to one of their stallions?
Do big farms ever buy broodmares and use another stud? For clients maybe?
really curious. I think there's only one who would fit her well there.

I would assume she was purchased to breed to one of their stallions. Even if they want to resell infoal, they would breed her to their stallions and promote themselves.
