All of Cynthia Phipps horses being sold?

I see that Versailles Treaty and her Empire Maker filly are cataloged for KeeJan and it says "Claiborne Farm, Agent for the Estate of Cynthia Phipps (Complete Dispersal)."

It appears so. There are numerous others, including St. Hildegard, Cologne, Rhineland, and Emanating. It looks like most, if not all, are being sold.

That's very unfortunate. You'd think they'd want to keep some of them in the family. I sort of feel sorry for a classy old mare like Versailles Treaty, as well. She's more than earned the right to live out her days where she is and not be sold off. She's i/f to Unbridled's Song, so hopefully that will be a nice baby and race more than 5 times.

Rhineland is i/f to Giant's Causeway (yawn). Her 2007 El Prado filly is in there, too.

Besides her soon-to-be yearling and Rhineland, a couple of other Versailles Treaty daughters are cataloged. Palais Versailles, 2004 by Pulpit, is an unraced broodmare prospect. Supreme Council, the lightly raced '03 model by Rahy, is also a prospect.
